In winter, due to the severe cold weather, the fluidity of the fuel deteriorates, the viscosity of the lubricating oil increases, and the cooling water is easy to freeze, which brings many difficulties to the use and maintenance of agricultural machinery. So, how to prevent freezing?

　　 1. Start the engine first, then add cooling water. It is difficult to start the engine in severe winter. Sometimes after adding cooling water (preferably hot water), if the engine cannot be started quickly, the cooling water will freeze. Therefore, the engine should be started and preheated to 40°C-50°C, then turn off the engine and add water, and fill it up all at once.

　　 2. Start driving after the water temperature rises. After the cooling water is full, the engine should be started to raise the temperature at a low speed immediately, but not immediately to avoid the cold air flow from further cooling the radiator, causing the cooling water to freeze. Generally speaking, do not start driving when the temperature is lower than 50°C. After reaching 50°C, you should also drive at a low speed. After the engine temperature rises to normal temperature, switch to normal driving. In severe cold season, you should wait for the engine to rise to normal temperature before starting.

　　3. When the tractor is in use, once the engine overheats due to the ice resistance of the radiator, it should stop immediately and keep the engine running at idle speed, and take deicing measures according to the conditions at the time: first, hot water and deicing. If there is boiling water, you can slowly pour it on the downpipe of the radiator which is easy to freeze, and the ice block will be gradually relieved. The second is to turn ice into cold water. If there is tap water at the parking place, pipes can be used to draw water to flush the radiator's exterior and icy parts until the ice resistance is eliminated.

　　 In addition, when parking halfway, you should choose a good parking place. It is advisable to choose a flat, dry and sunny place to stop the tractor from slipping or freezing on the ground. If the parking time is expected to be longer, the cooling water should also be drained to prevent the water from freezing in the machine and damaging the machine parts.
