How to prolong the service life of industrial belt

Drive belt is the belt used in industry, also known as industrial belt.

There are two kinds of industrial drive belt, one is plane drive belt. The other is synchronous drive belt, also known as synchronous belt. There are two kinds of materials, polyurethane synchronous belt (PU synchronous belt) and rubber synchronous belt, which are indispensable power transmission on mechanical equipment such as motor and internal combustion engine driven mechanical equipment. The service life of the same industrial belt is different in different environments and machines. Here are some maintenance methods summarized in the actual use of industrial belt.

1. The temperature and humidity of the application site should be kept stable, if the difference with the temperature and humidity of the site is too large. After the belt is transported to the place of use, it should be stored for 1-2 days before use.

2. The industrial belt has good chemical resistance, but it is not resistant to concentrated acid and alcohol corrosion. Please pay attention to it in use.

3. After the machine oozes smooth oil to smear the belt, stop the machine in time to wipe the belt surface and pulley surface clean, otherwise the transmission speed will be reduced. The belt should be wiped once every 1-3 months. If there is a large area of oil, the industrial belt can be soaked in warm water, brushed with a brush, and then dried.

4. Pay attention to the running position of the new industrial belt when it is used. In case of any abnormality, the adjustment shall be stopped immediately.

5. When inserting the transmission, insert the rotating body in the inserting part to prevent the direct friction between the belt and the belt.

6. The belt will form partial degumming and delamination due to long-term use, bending fatigue or mechanical failure. Once found, it should be repaired immediately, otherwise it will cause early damage to the whole belt.

7. During the transmission, when the steering is changed, the walking position of the belt may change, so pay attention to the adjustment in time.

8. In the industrial belt drive, due to some reasons, sometimes there may be hunting phenomenon. In order to avoid the deviation of the belt or facilitate the adjustment of the belt direction, when the ordinary method can not meet the requirements, a movable lower supporting pulley can be designed to support the belt edge.
