The v belt with special belt core structure has good toughness and strength, and is suitable for occasions with good rotational speed. What should the manufacturer pay attention to when replacing the v belt now?What situations are interchangeable?There are four principles for induction:

1. Metric and English Size Conversion:

We all know that the dimensions of v belt can be divided into Metric and English Size Conversion, so we should first judge whether there is substitutability between the two types of v belts based on the metric and English dimensions, of course, referring to between v belt of the same model. The relationship between the English and metric systems is: 1 inch=25.4mm. However, due to the different representations of triangle belt models, when converting to metric and English systems, except for the ordinary v belt conversion coefficient of 25.4, the v belt coefficient of all other models is 2.54. But because the manufacturing reference system of the v belt is different, it is not changed to choose based on theoretical conversion results, and a difference of several tens of millimeters is also allowed.

2. Replacement between different models of v belts:

Whether two different models of v belt can be replaced with each other depends on their cross-sectional dimensions. If the cross-sectional dimensions of two types of triangular belts are the same, then these two types of triangular belts can basically be replaced with each other.

3. Replacement between a joint v belt and a single v belt:

The joint v belt has high stability characteristics, which can eliminate the possibility of the triangular belt moving and flipping on the wheel, and is mostly used on equipment installed vertically on the shaft. The first two principles of substitutability also apply between the joint triangular belts. Unless otherwise specified, single v belts and banded v belts of the same model can also be replaced with each other.

4. Replacement of toothed v belts:

The above two principles of substitutability are equally applicable in toothed v belts. In addition, unless otherwise specified, the non toothed v belt model and the corresponding toothed v belt can be replaced with each other. The above replacement principles are all carried out under the same size.

Precautions for using v belts in winter:

1. When using in winter, the parts of the belt that need to be lubricated should be lubricated or painted in real time for maintenance.

2. Add sufficient lubricating grease to each lubrication point of the triangular belt, carefully check the bearing clearance, and replace it in real time.

3. During maintenance, it is important to prevent lubricating oil and other oil stains from getting on the surface of the v belt. Due to the corrosive effect of various oil stains on the triangular belt, it can prematurely age and reduce its service life.

4. Regularly check the fastening level of the bearing seat, and also prevent low-speed operation between permanent loads to prevent resonance of the v belt.

5. Once oil stains are found on the v belt, it should be promptly washed with a pancake or wiped with a small amount of non volatile liquid on the cloth. Do not soak in cleaning agents or use cleaning agents to brush the belt. Do not use sandpaper or scrape the belt with strong objects to avoid damaging the belt.

6. The belt needs to be kept dry before installation.

Selection of matching v belts:

1. The selected model should be compatible with the selected v belt, otherwise abnormal situations may occur in the pulley groove. When switching to a v belt, bring the old belt to the agricultural machinery department for purchase to prevent mistakes.

2. Before proper installation, install the v belt and use the same method to install a set of v belts.

3. When installing belt pulleys in a series of grooves, the centers of the two upper pulleys need to be aligned, otherwise it will cause the v belt to work unilaterally, cause severe wear, and reduce its service life.
