Precautions for use of rubber v belt

1. The rubber v belt shall be kept clean during transportation and storage to avoid direct sunlight and rain and snow immersion. Contact with acid, alkali, oil and other substances that may affect the texture of rubber;

2. The rubber v belt shall be rolled up and not folded during storage by the triangular belt manufacturer;

3. The operating speed of the rubber V-belt shall not be greater than 5.0m/s when transporting materials with large block size and high wear and when using the fixed plough-type unloading device, the low speed shall be adopted as far as possible. If the speed exceeds the specified speed, the service life of the belt will be affected.

4. During storage, the temperature in the warehouse should be kept between - 15 ℃ and+40 ℃, and the relative humidity should be kept between 50-80%.

Through the above reasons and solutions for the rubber V-belt cracks, an overload protection device can be added during the V-belt operation. The protection device makes the working force limit of the pulley less than the force of the pulley slipping, so as to reduce the pulley slipping and extend the service life of the pulley. If EPDM rubber V-belt is installed, its service life will be greatly improved due to its high temperature resistance, low temperature resistance, good flexibility and low elongation due to its material.
